Snow's over and Spring is definitely on the horizon, judging by all the pretty little flowers popping up everywhere anyway. I am still wearing my duvet coat for the school run so Spring is definitely not quite in the air yet. However I am more than fed up with winter fashion and my attention is definitely now on what's trending for Spring Summer. I am totally over anything chunky, grey or black.

I love Spring, it's definitely the prettiest season. This is not only evident in all the spring blossoms, daffodils and tulips, pretty pinks. Forals and lavender are also being injected ... Read More

Do any other bloggers out there sometimes feel like they just can't be bothered with it? Well that's been me the past few months. Blogging is not my main job, it's more of a hobby for me, and so there is never a real sense of urgency about any of it. And there is always something else that needs doing at work or at home. Thank goodness for instagram - I guess as a blogger it's the quick snap shot, visual version?  However, there's nothing like a new discovery to re-kindle that blogging flame. (As they say.)

I recently discovered Canva and I'm now obsessed. I always assumed you ... Read More

dress 5
I have posted quite a few summer dress purchases over on my Instagram feed recently and have had lots of people asking where they are from. As a result you have prompted a summer dress edit. I think about 80% of my everyday wardrobe this season seems to be from Zara. However, for fear of becoming totally boring, predictable, and more than likely to bump into someone in the same outfit, I have forced myself to become more adventurous with my shopping destinations. The high street actually has so much to offer, even, dare I say it, from the likes of New Look and River Island. Y ... Read More

Marchesa sequin tulle mini dress
I'm not normally a pink person. My wardrobe contains mostly black, white, grey and denim. I do also like a print and a stripe but, I literally don't have one thing pink. However this season I am finding myself increasingly drawn to it. I keep coming across beautiful lace and embroidered dresses, both from the high street and designer in this pretty (I'm talking blush not fuscia) hue. Pink is also perfect accessorised with gold which makes me love it even more, as I have a lot of gold accessories. Perhaps not a colour I would wear everyday, although you easily could, I love the idea of somethin ... Read More

Holiday season is fast approaching and there are some really lovely swimwear pieces out there right now, both designer and high end. Now is the time to invest girls, as when it comes to actual summer holidays you will find there is nothing you like left in stock! I think it's always best to plan ahead for every season. We are off to Marrakesh in fact for half term, so I have started my search for a summer wardrobe even earlier than usual.

I am currently obsessed with anything bardot and when it comes to costumes and bikini's this is no exception. I got a my first Read More

Who knew actually how impossible it is to find school hair clips? After Easter the girls started at a new school and as a result we had to change all their current green hair clips and bands to blue. Being out of season, i.e April not September, it was impossible to find any in the shops; Thank goodness for Glammrags. An online boutique, run by two London mums, that have all the colours and styles of hairbands, clips and ties you may ever need, including those for school.

Glammrags offer traditional styles as well as more fun accessorie ... Read More

Can you believe Valentines day is just around the corner? As tough and miserable a month January has been it's actually flown by! Hello February. February is actually a really good month for me as we usually head off for some winter sun around about this time. It's also my birthday month AND it's Valentines day. That's a lot to celebrate.

When it comes to valentines day, whilst roses and chocolates are nice, they can be a little bit of a cliche this time of year. And trust me, a girls can smell a petrol station bunch and box a mile off. In fact, ... Read More

Aquazzura £168 from £420 Net A Porter
Sales, you either love them or hate them. For me Sale shopping has to be done online, I hate trawling sale rails in store and I have come to the conclusion that generally you will waste your time looking for anything you like, that is available in your size. You are also way more likely to make rash purchases. The same theory applies when I am looking for the girls. Although I must admit I did find a beautiful grey coat for A last weekend in the COS sale. But that must have been fate as it was literally the only one there and happened to be in her size.

Sale sho ... Read More

bonnet 1
As an Instagram addict, fuelled by both my blog and also my business, I basically make every single one of my purchases these days from something I have seen on one of those tiny little squares. (Unless it's Zara!) My community of like minded mums, mum bosses, friends and family, is constantly fuelling my shopping desires. Much to my husbands annoyance.

My latest obsession is baby bonnets. There is literally nothing cuter than a little one in a bonnet. Styles for summer in floral or liberty print will always catch my eye. For winter I like Read More

One tradition in our house is new Pajamas to wear on Christmas eve. I love seeking out my favourite pair for the girls and each year the offering becomes greater and greater, making the task harder and harder. If you know me you will know I am indecisive at the best of times. Which is my favourite?

Go-to's include Gap Kids and The Little White Company. I think it's important for sleepwear to be as soft and comfortable as possible and both brands seem to offer a lovely quality. They also have sweet designs that are not too colourful or garish, for both boys, girls and us mamas. ... Read More
