Dress H&M, shoes Nine West

What better way to start my blog than to share my recent holiday wardrobe; The trip was also super exciting as this is when my boyfriend proposed! (I will tell you all about this later!)
Packing for a trip to the sun was a little daunting! After trying on most of my summer dresses I realised that the majority no longer fitted, mainly due to bigger boobs! Those loose fitted styles that draped my modest chest now just looked like I was bursting out at the seams!
So, to avoid purchasing a whole new summer wardrobe that would more than likely just be worn on this trip (seeing as my bump(s) were growing almost daily!) I needed to whittle things down. Maxi dresses were a life saver, as they don’t need to be maternity specific! Those I had still fitted, and I also managed to get a couple in the sale. French Connection did a good one that was just £20.
I also found Asos maternity a life saver. I managed to get a couple of cute dresses that will grow with me as my pregnancy progresses, so I can still be wearing them in London as the weather warms up. I think this is important to consider when you buy maternity clothes, make sure you get styles that will still fit you towards the end of your pregnancy and can also be worn whilst you get your figure back. Always try to go for floaty or stretchy fabrics.

This snap on the left was taken just before going out one evening. I wore a Kaftan coral dress from last years summer wardrobe with my sparkly Nine West heels, these make any outfit look amazing!
