Maternity lounge wear aka Natalie Portman

28 Apr

Natalie-Portman
Being pregnant means that sometimes you just want to be comfy and lounge around in some tracky's, well i do anyway, and so does Natalie Portman judging by the fact that she has recently been pictured out and in a casual attire. However it is important to understand that tracksuit does not have to mean trailor trash. There is lots of maternity loungewear available that allows for a stylish, casual look.

I think personally it is best to go for neutral, dark colours in classic styles, try to avoid looking like a  Paris Hilton wannabe in  juicy couture, you will look even ... Read More

26 Apr

I had a lovely day on Saturday with my soon to be sister in law! She treated me to a fish pedicure and lunch at the yummy Gilgamesh in Camden. Afterwards we (of course) spent a few hours shopping in the stables, there is so much to see there we could have literally spent all day!

So, first off the fish pedicure. I was quite excited about this, but at the same time not really sure what to expect! We arrived at the salon, had our feet sprayed with disinfectant and then place them in individual tanks filled with hundreds of little fish. They immediately swarmed our feet and star ... Read More

There has been a lot of controversy lately about breastfeeding in the media, mainly centered around celebrities and the stigma they have received for choosing to opt out of breastfeeding their own babies. I am not going  to judge as i completely understand why some women find it difficult, for personal or medical reasons, or simply because their lifestyle won't allow it. However i do plan to breastfeed, all being well.

Personally i think its the most natural thing and if you can persevere the benefits for yourself and your baby are tremendous. Not to mention ... Read More

I never thought i would get so excited about a shower wash, actually in this instance a shower Oil, but yesterday i did, and i just have to tell you all about it!

I was send some L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil and used it for the first time last night. I have never really bothered to spend much on a shower wash, preferring to spend on creams and lotions, but after using L'occitane i have changed my mind. The oil was so luxurious it left my skin feeling su ... Read More

Pregnancy results in a number of annoying conditions, one of the most worrysome is the dreaded stretchmarks! In this instance my friend is Silderm - 'Beauty through Science, clinically proven for stretchmarks.' Silderm is similar to the more popular brand, Bio Oil (i must admi ... Read More
