Blossom Mother and Child – THE maternity boutique!

I was recently contacted by the PR of Blossom Mother and Child, an extremely chic and ultimate Mumzy-not boutique, that i came across whilst searching for fabulous maternity clothes. They invited me up to the store, which is also online, to have a look around and see what they have to offer. Of course i jumped at the chance as i love coming across new brands and sharing them with my fellow yummy mummies, i also love shopping! As i turned onto Warren Street, situated in Chelsea, i had a rush of excitement as i saw shop after shop of gorgeous maternity clothing and baby products selling baby clothes to furniture, and of course being in Chelsea you have seen nothing like it!

As i came to the door of Blossom i could not wait to get inside and see first hand all the lovely designer maternity clothes and bags and all the equally gorgeous baby clothes and products! The internet is great but there is nothing like shopping for real and being able to touch and try things on! As you walk in you are faced with some amazing little baby outfits, stuff you just don’t see in the likes of Mothercare or Mamas and Papas. Little Levi sleepsuits, luxe sheepskin hats and matching mittens and cute little girly dresses with matching tights. They also have some fabulous designer bottles and dummies, not very expensive but just a bit different, would make great gifts if nothing else! I was also mesmerised by all the maternity beauty products, organic and exclusive – some things i never knew even existed, if i had i would definitely have used them during my pregnancy!

I was then filtered through into the maternity denim bar, and oh my god i have seen nothing like it! Maternity denim jeans from the likes of J Brand, 7 for Mankind, Citizens of Humanity to name a few, and also Blossom’s own range. All were fabulous, i wanted every pair!! I own jeans like this normally but was so excited to see they also do a maternity range!

The next part of the store was equally stunning! Changing bags from the likes of Anya Hindmarch, Il Tutto and Storksak – i saw my very own Stroksak Emily amongst the collection. Blossom offer their own range of maternity clothing, chiffon tops with sequin details and chunky knit cardigans displayed with maternity cargo trousers, as well as other top brands such as Mothers En Vogue and Dote. They also havea lovely collection of breastfeeding dresses and tops. I choose a Dote black tee and Mothers En Vogue wrap detail nursing top – both look fabulous on, of course!

Blossom mother and Child also cleverly offer a collection of regular designer clothing that can be worn as maternity wear – fitting perfectly over a bump. The like of Missoni and Chloe have some great styles that are all mixed in among the other maternity brands. I especially loved the Missoni dress and Cardigan!

My fave Missoni dress!

Mix and match - love it!

So to sum things up Blossom Mother and Child is definitely a must go see if you are looking for maternity clothing that is exclusive and designer. Not everything is super expensive so do not be put off by a label if you are on a budget. If nothing else a trip to Warren Street is a lovely day out for you, your girlfriends and babies, you can then do what i did and have lunch in Harvey Nics. You may well go with the intention of just window shopping but i bet you will be temped by something!
