NURTURING MUMS

17 Apr

Having a baby, as we all know, can be somewhat isolating and lonely, especially if you don’t have a good support network of friends and family. With this in mind I would like to introduce you to Nurturing mums.

Nurturing mums was founded by two North London mums that wanted to offer post natal care and a much needed support system for like-minded new mummies. Elise Mendelle and Gemma Frenchman both found themselves longing forΒ practical on-tap advice when their babies were born, but didn’t know where to turn. Β Having experienced conflicting opinions, short paternity leave, a fair bit of anxiety met with many walks to the shops, they wanted to change the way new mummies felt about early motherhood and give them a better experience.

Nurturing mums offers post natal courses for new mums, to get together and learn all about the day to day trials and tribulations of having a newborn and how best to care for them. As well as on hands practical advice it offers friendship and a bit of ‘me-time’, a chance to get out of the house and spent time with others that are going through the same experiences. There is no better time to get involved and meet new people and if you are lucky you will make great friends for life.

If Nurturing mums sounds like something you would like to get involved with then visit their website and sign yourself up. Their blog is also great.

Have fun,

Love,

Jess
