KATE BOSWORTH

25 Oct

Kate-Bosworth
Yesterday I posted about the fabulous new collection by Kate Bosworth for Topshop, and today I have just spotted this image of Kate - in my perfect outfit. I told you she was one of my style icons. (I know, she's not a mamma. But sometimes there has to be an exception to the rule.)

Appearing at an event in New York, Kate was dressed head-to-toe Topshop and I love it all, but that skirt has to be my fave. I did actually just try the same style but in grey leather. With an elasticated waist it sat perfectly under bump and of-course came home with me in my bag. I wish I had seen t ... Read More

A NEWBORN WARDROBE

25 Oct

Marie Chantal angel wings cashmere gift set £195
This time last pregnancy, at just over 20 weeks, I had already purchased a number of newborn outfits for expectant bundle. I knew we were having a little girl and could not wait to get shopping! Inevitable many of those purchases remained unworn. So, second time around, things are very different. To date I have not purchased one single thing?!

I am being very sensible (some may say boring) and taking my time in putting together my new, newborn, wardrobe. From experience I now know that there is no need to go overboard with outfits - skirts and dresses for example are a waste of ... Read More

THE KATE BOSWORTH COLLECTION

24 Oct

Leather shirt dress £180
I love Kate Bosworth, she, along with the likes of Alexa Chung, is one of my modern day style icons. So as you can imagine I have been greatly anticipating her second collection for Topshop. I have not been disappointed.

Being pregnant can be rather frustrating. Thanks to bigger boobs (I actually don't like having a bigger bust, clothes just don't fit as nicely) and a non-existent waist, buying into the latest trends becomes more of a challenge.  Thankfully there is many a maternity label that now recognizes a pregnant woman's desire to remain stylish, but when it comes to non- ... MUMZYNOT SALE PICKS

22 Oct

Stella MCCartney check and stripe sweater £225 was £510
Mid-season sales are upon us. Whether you are looking for a Christmas-gift bargain or something new for yourself, lets get inspired.

When it comes to Sale shopping always ask, would I buy it full price? More often than not the answer will be no - so don't get distracted by a discount and stick to your true style.

I love all of the below. (Sorry these all seem dull and dark in color, but that's my mood right now. I always prefer the classics anyway, timeless.) All will work with a bump but will look equally as chic minus one. Even better. Now to decided which is my ... Read More

STEAL VS SPREE

17 Oct

Zara-pointy-ballerina
The Valentino rockstud is perhaps the most coveted shoe right now (I would just love a pair. Santa?). A pointy heel, or flat for that matter, is the perfect footwear of choice for that up-to-the-minute style injection.

We might not all have a spare £600, so to my delight I have just spotted these cute flatties in Zara, that are very Valentino!? I wonder if they are going to bring out a heeled version too?

Short, but very sweet.

Love,

Jess x

SUSIE AND TOTO BABY BOUTIQUE

17 Oct

Susie-and-toto
I was recently introduced to a divine online baby and toddler boutique, Susie and Toto, that offers an adorable collection for style conscious little ones. (Or more realistically, their mums.) If you like quality combined with style this online store is well worth a visit. Think cashmere dresses, wool knits, moccasin booties, tweed coats and a delectable sets for newborns, all made in Italy.

I was lucky enough to receive a rather cute dress and cardi set for A in grey and navy. Initially I was a bit worried our new outfit would be too small. (Sizes go from 3 months to 24 months ... Read More
