I am a country girl at heart. I grew up in the Suffolk countryside and love nothing more than going back home for some R&R. There is actually nothing more relaxing, the country way of life is just so chilled. It's almost backwards. I love the lazy mornings reading the paper, long dog walks without a car in sight, and indulging in the local fish and chips (Aldeburgh) which are to-die-for. I am in-fact long overdue a return, and what perfect timing. At over six months pregnant R&R is definitely what I need!

With country jaunts in mind it is important to understand that sev ... Read More

This past week has been super-hectic, but not actually that exciting. I have mostly been working and in every spare moment frantically trying to tidy and clean the house (in between looking after a recently super-charged toddler, is this a faze?!).We are on the final push to get everything finished in time for Christmas. Carpets fitters are coming on the 20th of December so all painting, electrics, fixtures and fittings need to be finished. The fine film of dust that seems to be covering every surface must also be eradicated. This is my on-going battle!

Work and renovations asid ... Read More

Party season is well and truly in full-swing. For me it started in October with the first of a long run of family birthdays, but now the attention is turning towards Christmas. I have already been invited to a number of Christmas press and PR events, as well as several social soirées. That's a lot of outfits to plan.

On a different note, With party time in mind, I thought it would be fun to team up with Kasimira (whom I met a few weeks ago at Plusher London and fell in love with) and bring you some Christmas party-time-tips for fun with your little ones. Let's face it, Christma ... Read More

A friend of mine recently asked me what changing bag I would recommend. She wants to treat a friend to something nice and spend a reasonable amount. I jumped at the chance to offer my advice. (I am also thinking of getting a new one, so research is for my benefit also.)

First off, personally, there are only three brands worth considering when it comes to baby bags - Sugarjack, Il Tutto and Storksak. They are market leaders for a reason. Stylish, chic and practical, without a hint of baby.  There is also a new contender in the mix, Baby Beau. I would like to say I discovered thi ... Read More

Hills star, Kristin Cavallari recently announced she is expecting baby number 2 with NFL husband Jay Cutler. The 26 year old has been snapped on a number of occasions showcasing the first signs of a baby bump and this outfit has to be one of my favorites. Chic and sophisticated with a sexy feminine edge, accessorized with a killer heel (Louboutins) and Chanel. Of course.

This is actually a really achievable and versatile look. Swap the heels for a leopard loafer and you are ready for the school run.

A great pair of leather-look pants and a chunky knit are both war ... Read More

Before number 2 arrives we will have switched all A's current bedroom furniture into the new nursery. She has already grown out of her changing table and cot, so it makes sense really. This means happily I don't need to worry too much about furnishing a new nursery and can just concentrate on the decor. The only thing I am going to re-invest in furniture wise is a moses basket. Our old one is in the loft and I just want to have something new for those first few precious months. I'm currently debating over this organic one from Natures Purest or a chic white wicker style from Mothercare.

I have stolen this idea from Sheere Luxe. (I hope they don't mind...) The gorgeous Georgie (editor) started a weekly diary/type blog a while ago and I really enjoy reading it, so though I would do something similar in the hope that you guys enjoy reading mine. A kinda sum-up of my week with a few pictures to go with, including some outfit snaps. Baby bump is now 24 weeks but I am still managing to keep the leggings at bay (for the most part.) Here is my first entry.

Last week was my husbands birthday. In our family birthday's are usually a weekend affair, we don't just have one ... Read More

On Saturday I attended the Plusher press preview - London's first ever luxury mother, family and baby show.  Doors opened to the Royal Horticultural Halls at 9.30am and I was one of the first through the doors, eager to experience the day's offerings. You might have already guessed, where luxury is concerned, I am there.

The show was relatively small and intimate (this was a good thing) with plenty of attractions to keep the little ones busy - mini-mani's from Little Bu, photoshoot stations, a dance corner and an adorable Alice in Wonderland themed fashion show. Of-course there ... Read More

Not bad for 9 months pregnant? The Hollywood stylish, Rachel Zoe, has just revealed that she is now at full term after keeping her second pregnancy pretty much under-wraps until now.

Pictured in Beverly Hills with her two year old son, Rachel was dressed in her trademark flared jeans and black top, teamed with a metallic jacket from her own collection. She carried an over-sized Hermes tote as her and little Skyler shopped for toys, on what she claims to be one of her last outings before she gives birth.

It's nice to see Rachel adding a bit of sparkle to her usual ... Read More
