I have stolen this idea from Sheere Luxe. (I hope they don’t mind…) The gorgeous Georgie (editor) started a weekly diary/type blog a while ago and I really enjoy reading it, so though I would do something similar in the hope that you guys enjoy reading mine. A kinda sum-up of my week with a few pictures to go with, including some outfit snaps. Baby bump is now 24 weeks but I am still managing to keep the leggings at bay (for the most part.) Here is my first entry.

Last week was my husbands birthday. In our family birthday’s are usually a weekend affair, we don’t just have one celebration. On Saturday night we went to our favorite Indian, Le Raj in Epsom. Think A La Carte restaurant, rather than local curry house. It really is a yummy place and well worth a visit. The relaxed atmosphere is not too ‘stuffy’ but still allows for dressing up. I wore my new Theory blazer with leather pants and a sequin knit. The Jimmy Choos also came out of hibernation.

Sunday saw a relaxed day with all the family and a delicious home cooked Beef Wellington (one of my husbands faves.). Another birthday cake ensued (for the purpose of A) and then an afternoon of lounging around in front of the fire watching films. The perfect Sunday.

His official birthday was Tuesday so of course we had to celebrate one final time. We decided on an early supper with A at our local Pizza Express. Cheap and cheerful, Pizza Express is 100% child friendly so we love going with A. The pizza is also delicious, my husband (half Italian) was most surprised! I must admit I think the food quality does vary from restaurant to restaurant but we are lucky with ours. Must be a good pizza chef.

On Saturday I also made time to visit the first Plusher Show in London. I decided to go solo and left A behind for some daddy-daughter bonding over breakfast. It was nice to have a bit of me-time and a real treat enjoying the train toddler free. I even managed a relaxed coffee and read of the paper. It’s the simple things.

Saturday afternoon involved carpet shopping. We are nearing the end of some major house renovations and now on the final push to get things finished before Christmas. I cannot wait to have carpet again. Or see the back of builders, dirt and dust for that matter. It will of-course be worth it and after Christmas we can get started on the new nursery. I don’t mind the interior design part.

Other highlights of my week included the delivery of a number of gorgeous new goodies to my office. Two cute dresses from Kate Thomas Maternity, including their new staple wrap dress in Navy, a pair of Neo-Skinny Jeans from Blossom Mother and Child, and the stunning Eden gown from Tiffany Rose. I cannot wait to wear this for the Inter-club Christmas Ball at the Hurlingham Club next month. I was also lucky enough to receive a rather divine bracelet from Perle De Lune. This brand is new to me, but after browsing the website I soon discovered several other pieces I just love.

So, what do you think? Same time same place next week for another diary instillation?
