COVER-UP

13 Dec

With Winter comes the need for added layers. Chunky knits and woolly tights are all well and good but no matter the amount of fabric, a cover-up is still essential. One of my favourite things to shop for this season is a chic new coat. Just like shoes and bags, you can never have too many. A coat is one item of clothing I have found (with pregnancy number one and again this time around) that does not need to be maternity specific. A baby-bump doesn’t really get in the way of the latest outerwear styles. Currently I am loving all things over-sized, as you already know, and the fur teddy coat is a real attraction too. Although I am not sure a big fluffy style is ideal when you are feeling anything but slim…I might just stick to those favourite mannish styles. Little A also requires something new. I am thinking tweedy, grey or camel for her. (or maybe even a mini-fur-teddy to make up for the fact I can’t have one right now.) She currently has several puffa-styles from the likes of Ralph Lauren and a divine mini-trench. But like her mummy, one or two is never enough. My picks. I am yet to decide the favourites….
