PAPA VALENTINE

7 Feb

Assouline
As well as receiving a nice gift myself this Valentines, it's important to remember that you can also give something nice to your love in return. In all honesty my husband and I never really buy into Valentines gifting, but maybe this year we will both spoil each other a little..

This is what I am thinking for him - You can't go wrong with a divine smelling cologne, and it's always better to choose yourself. Don't you just hate it when they wear that aftershave you can't stand?! I adore Acqua di Parma Colonia Essenza so sexy. A great hair product will always go ... Read More

MADDERSON LONDON LAUNCH WOMENSWEAR

6 Feb

Madderson-Lond-on
I'm going to keep this brief, I'm still feeling horrendous thanks to this bug that's going around. But I just wanted to post about the recent Madderson London press launch, which I have been meaning to do all week.

At the end of Jan I attended Madderson's Beaufort House party, where their stunning dรฉbut womenswear collection was revealed. The likes of Grazia, Tatler and Hello magazine were in attendance, as well as some very influential stylists, models and celebrities. (Tamara Beckwith, Martha Ward, Tilly Boone, June Sarpong and Lisa Butcher, to name just a few.) As e ... Read More

MAMA VALENTINE

5 Feb

Alex-monroe
I guess it has to be done, a Valentine's post, with a little bit of wishful thinking and some serious hinting. What would mama love to receive this February 14th? (If I am totally honest a card and some flowers would be perfect, but it's always nice to have an extra surprise, especially when you have been feeling so under the weather. Something unexpected is always extra-special.)

Amber and Lavander bath oil Jo Malone, Ellie leather changing bag Baby Beau, silver 'love' bracelet Alex Monroe, Gardenia scented candle Diptyque, Sophie embroidered Bra and silk briefsย M ... Read More

CROCHET

4 Feb

bunny-mobile
Just came across these adorable crochet baby mobiles. Do you know anyone that can knit?

I would just adore something like this for the new nursery, I think the bunnies are my favourite. But I feel the ยฃ60+ price tag is a little steep so not sure I can justify it? (If you can knit this would be a great little business venture, supplied a little more reasonably? I would be your first customer.) They are really hard to find, literally Etsy is the only place.

Let me know! Or perhaps I should take up knitting myself....

Love,

FORGET THE SALES

3 Feb

Chloe-slides
Sale season is definitely coming to an end. I keep popping back to see if there is anything I might be missing, but as predicted it's just the dregs. Those silly sale regrets. Things you wouldn't even look twice at if they were full price. So, forget the sales and concentrate on the new season I say. Now is the time to invest in those SS must-haves before it's too late.

On my wish list. (From a purely fashion perspective, maternity, babies and children aside). Top of the list - a pair of slides.

Cable stitch oversized sweater Zara, Sleeveless shift dress Zara, ... Read More

COOL FOR KIDS

2 Feb

Micuna-highchair2
The past few days have been spent mostly snuggled up under a blanket in front of the fire, both A and I have caught this bug that seems to be going around. Snoozing and feeling sorry for myself aside, I have also had time on my hands with an uncharacteristic sleeping babe allowing for some serious internet action.

I think this 'nesting stage' has fuelled my current obsession with all things baby and kids, and as a result I have come across some really cool things that I feel I need in my life (Or should I say in the life of my little one and one-to-be.) The only bummer being I s ... Read More
