I have been looking for the perfect pair of summer slides for a while now. Being more of a fashion style I didn't really want to spend too much. When I have a spare minute or two I like to look around my favourite online baby boutiques and see what's 'new-in'. These days the majority of my shopping is done from the laptop, there is no way I am hitting the shops with two-in-tow. If I have a shopping trip planned I like to make the most of it. Solo.

Wedding season is creeping up, and for some i'm sure has already started. So it's time to start thinking and planning that new statement piece.
Last year we had five weddings. This year just one. (Actually two but unfortunately they both fall on the same day.) Due to this fact I only need one new look I am going to treat myself to something extra nice...by September I am hoping my body will also be 100% pre-preggy so I can actually get excited about shopping again. We were sure to make the most of this past weekends glorious sunshine. (Clearly a wise move as, surprise surprise, it didn't last.) BBQ's, family and friends were the perfect combination to those hot sunny days.
For laid back summer dressing 'mini-style' you can't beat a cute little romper. Baby Gap editions are my go-to right now for both the girls. Cute, comfy and casual A's lightweight denim version is a favourite, and I love anything in white for baby E. So does she clearly, judging by that smile.

Slightly behind the times (I blame the seven week old) but how cute did Prince George look in his vintage inspired looks during the recent Royal tour? Almost as cute as his father all those years ago..
Anyway my point is, smocking is back. A smocked romper is just the perfect look for all your little guys this summer. (Super-cute wedding outfit?) I kinda wish I had a boy...Head to Amelia Brennan and smock-it like George. (There are also some divine little smock styles for the girls.)

Sandal season is upon us so now is the time to invest in the perfect wear-with-all flats. This summer it's all about metallics and the Cleo sandal by Ancient Greek is a top pick. So, today I clicked myself a pair home. Plus I had a 20% off voucher burning a hole in my inbox. Oh, and I don't currently own anything sandal-y in silver. She is a Victoria Secrets model, so granted most of us won't/don't look like this whilst pregnant. But a chic long black dress a la Doutzen Kroes is for me the most perfect, elegant, maternity look - Evening glamour in one easy-to-wear step.
I would also consider this look for a wedding or summer party. Black is not the most traditional hue for such an occasion but it's just so flattering and elegant over a bump, and well, why not?
