LINGERIE

20 Jan

Ganni
One of my January traditions is to sort and re-vamp my underwear drawer. This is required even more so after having a baby and finishing breastfeeding - It's a little celebratory treat. (Paired with a little sadness that that special time is over.)

I am fortunate (or un-lucky depending how you look at it) that I have never had a problem buying nice underwear thanks to a moderate bust size. When pregnant and breastfeeding, although a-lot bigger, that size was still manageable and I could easily find comfortable and good-looking maternity and nursing pieces. My go-to's - ... Read More

GYM + MY BKR

18 Jan

My Bkr
I love to hit the gym. Full on spin class is actually one of my weekly highlights. 45 mins child and baby free focus, I always come out feeling good. I also think that class has really helped getting back into shape after n0.2 - it definitely requires a little more work than first time around.

With my new found spin obsession comes gym-wear, and my latest lust, my BKR. More than just a water bottle, it's the latest beauty essential don't you know? There is actually a lot more to it and they are great for little ones too, just hit their website for more info. And if you know wher ... Read More

SAY IT WITH A CANDLE

15 Jan

Noe 2
So you know I love a scented candle, Diptyque, Jo Malone are all penchants of mine, and lately these lovelies from Noe Candles are top of the list. I love a little personalisation, mixed with luxury and divine smelling, you can't really go wrong, right?

Noe Candles are hand-poured, soy, organic and biodegradable (so completely natural and chemical free) they also burn up to 50% longer than normal candles. All these technicalities aside, they make for a gorgeous interiors accessory and personally, no room should be without one. What a great gift for others, or yourself? Nothing ... Read More

UNIFORM

Uniform
I always used to hate Winter, I hate the cold. But as I have grown up I actually quite like it, and I think I actually prefer winter fashion. In some ways it's just easier, perhaps that's the appeal now I am a mum.

So, being winter, lately I find myself reaching for that same jumper dress or chunky knit and jeans, so I like to call my 'uniform' right now. Cosy and chic you just can't beat it's off-duty appeal - for warmth and style without a second thought. Add a statement cross-body bag (Gucci's Soho in black for example) point-toe boots and some orangey-red nails (stepup Victo ... Read More

NURSING KNITS

So I am no longer breastfeeding but when friends Babes With Babies asked to feature something gorgeous from their collection, I knew this was no matter. As a maternity and breastfeeding go-to of mine, when it comes to their clothing practicality is just a formality.

So, as it should, the Babes With Babies collection has several lovely pieces that appear in no-way baby/pregnancy/breastfeeding/new mum related, and after a quick search I picked something I have actually be looking for, for quite a while. - A chunky poncho-style cable-knit in that lovely shade of charcoal grey. 2015

New year 'new me' and all that...I have learn from experience that if you do decide to make any new year resolutions the likelihood of keeping any, is by keeping them simple.

So that's no dry January for me then. Every parent out there knows how important that post bed-time glass of wine is, no? In all seriousness, my plan for 2015 - to work hard, dream big and if it ain't broke, don't fix it. It's the little 'big' things that matter. Health and happiness. Anything else that comes along the way is just a bonus. (I wouldn't mind a new handbag.) I am also planning to tone up, and ... Read More
