UPDATES

31 May

Even though I am no longer pregnant, I still like to keep on top of the latest maternity collections. Mumzynot is an on line destination for stylish mums and mums-to-be – so it’s important to keep the latter readership happy too, right? As well, I am actually a little bit obsessed with maternity fashion. Perhaps even more so than the regular kind. Since the blog started four years ago the world of maternity has come a long way. It actually makes me miss a bump…

So, updates. I am currently obsessed with denim dungarees and ASOS maternity have a cute vintage-wash style. It’s a boyfriend fit too, which I think is great with a bump. Mostly you prefer something a little loose over skinny. During my pregnancy I found it really hard to find comfortable denim that didn’t constantly need hoisting up, the dungarees was my obvious answer. And it’s a hot look this season, pregnant or no. I also spotted the new denim blue melange version of Isabella Oliver’s signature jersey T-shirt dress which I love. They also have a nice brenton stripe in the long sleeve version. In fact, their entire weekend capsule collection is more than lust-worthy. (Currently 15% off with code CS315 btw.)

For more dress-up pieces, a maternity maxi is often best – elegant and flattering with a bump, and you need not worry about those swollen ankles. What’s great about maxi dresses too, is that more often than not you don’t even have to look to maternity labels. Here you can have a lot of fun, investing in something really fabulous that can be worn all summer and beyond. I adore this denim canale dress by S Max Mara. In-fact I want this for myself, right now.

Love,

Jess x
