A MOSES BASKET TO RIVAL ANY OTHER

30 Sep

Plum and sparrow 2
So I came across the most divine babies moses basket today on Instagram. So beautiful, gorgeous, unique, I just had to share. I mean have you ever seen one so beautiful? Forget the new Mamas and Papas Liberty range. If you expecting and looking for the perfect, safe place for your newborn bundle to snuggle and sleep, this is it.

Plum + Sparrow is a mother of four, inspired by the world around her, and driven by life's experiences, to create something totally unique, natural and wonderful for her baby. I think she's done a pretty good job, judging by the fact that currently every ... Read More

FORGET TRUNKI. IT’S ALL ABOUT SAMSONITE’S NEW CHILDREN’S COLLECTION

Much to the probable annoyance of those dragons, Trunki has become a household name. We own one, and the same goes for pretty much everyone I know that has small children and travels. However, personally, they are actually more of a hindrance than a help. That cute airport ride-on, that's designed to make travelling with children easier and fun, is far from it. Perhaps if you could pull them around corners and they didn't fall over at the first hurdle I wouldn't be so anti. But for now the Trunki is definitely more fun for children than it is for parents. Subsequently our Trunki has been 'brok ... Read More

BURGUNDY PIECES

Burgundy
According to the fashion guides Burgundy is the colour of the season. And that's fine by me. I've never been a huge fan of red. It's a difficult hue to master stylishly especially if you are blonde. And even then i'm not a fan on me. I honestly don't think I have one piece in my wardrobe that's red. However, burgundy I am all over. Classic, stylish, yet remaining sultry.  A cashmere sweater, bag or burgundy skirt has gone straight to the top of my list of new season updates. Preferably in cord or velvet.

What I love even more is that this trend has filtered down into c ... Read More

WIDE FITTING. HELP!

I never thought I would have such a problem finding girls shoes. The market is a-wash with some adorable brands and stores - my favourites include Papouelli, Max and May and a latest discovery, online boutique, I adore little feet. We are also lucky as we visit Italy a lot. Need I say more? One thing is for sure my eldest daughter was, and still is, spoilt for choice when it comes to footwear.

Upon the news of hearing number two was also a girl, I was thrilled to discover my shoe addiction could be passed on. Number two would have a ready-made shoe collection. It made me feel co ... Read More

JOOLZ GEO STUDIO

Geo studio
Those new-mums-to-be, if they come via my blog and are looking for stroller advice, will be immediately directed to Joolz. Bias aside (I own a Joolz and work closely with this brand) so far, I have yet to drive a rival. I have worked with most of the main brands - Bugaboo, McLaren, Babyzen, Cosatto, Cybex - yet Joolz still remains top of my list. If you are looking for style, comfort, design and ease-of-use, Joolz is it. Hands down. The attention to detail in their design is second to none.

All the above aside, what also make the Joolz a stand-out brand is the customisation opti ... Read More

THE GRO COMPANY

Both my girls have been always been dressed at night in a sleeping bag. As soon as they grew out of swaddling it was the obvious transition. Snug and cosy in the winter, tucked up in a thick quilted version. Snug and light-weight in the summer, in a 1 tog.

Up until now I have always looked to aden + anais for those summer weight styles. Especially whilst abroad. They have always been the coolest thanks to that ultra-thin muslin layer. Other summer-weight brands always seem too thick, even if essentially they are designed for the same temperatures. I guess that's down to the mate ... Read More
