One of the best things about Instagram (and also one of the best places to catch up with me in between posts) is discovering unique new brands. I recently came across the perfect example of a wonderful new discovery. And just in time as i’m currently in the process of making the transition for E from a cot to cot-bed. We are just about to take the sides of her cot and introduce her very own duvet, which in turn requires that special first bed linen. Introducing Hollyhock home.

Hollyhock home is perhaps the most beautiful, vintage-styled design I have ever encountered in my quest for the perfect bedding set for the girls. First off, the design. Quintessentially English it reminds me of something from Beautrix Potter, a childhood favourite of my own that has been passed down to my children. Peter rabbit is in fact one of our favourite bedtime stories. Second is the quality. Made from 100% linen it may be more expensive to produce (hence that slightly higher price point) but it’s the perfect fabric for kindness to a little ones delicate skin. Breathable, hypo-allergenic and great at providing temperate control. I was sold. I also love the fact that with every wash these linens become softer and softer. All this combined with the fact that E is bunny obsessed and I literally haven’t found a print or fabric quite as nice, that I have wanted to get. And I have been looking for quite some time. The Little White Company doesn’t even compare.

So what are you waiting for? Beautiful bedlinen for both boys and girls, available in cot bed and single sizes.
