BABY BONNET

17 Nov

As an Instagram addict, fuelled by both my blog and also my business, I basically make every single one of my purchases these days from something I have seen on one of those tiny little squares. (Unless it’s Zara!) My community of like minded mums, mum bosses, friends and family, is constantly fuelling my shopping desires. Much to my husbands annoyance.

My latest obsession is baby bonnets. There is literally nothing cuter than a little one in a bonnet. Styles for summer in floral or liberty print will always catch my eye. For winter I like bonnets in tweed with cute pom pom detail. Snug and cosy I can’t think of a more stylish way to keep the girls warm? I am lucky too as both my daughters seem to have developed my love of a hat. Β There are quite a few sweet children’s boutiques online that offer a range of different bonnets from babies to older children. If you don’t like the tweed styles there are also a wide variety of knitted styles, that are equally as adorable. Mabel Child is one place to shop. Not just bonnets either. They have an adorable range of childrenswear that you won’t find on the high street. Obviously. Another Instagram discovery.

However. For me, for now, Sylvie Anne childrenswear has caught my eye. Our latest addition being my perfect style; Yorkshire tweed, pom pom, soft fleece liningΒ and Betsy Ann liberty print London trim. (All for just Β£26.99.) Each bonnet is handmade to order and takes about two weeks to arrive. You can customise your design too, with an array of different coloured pom pom’s and trims. I can assure you it’s well worth the wait. Now I just need one for Annabella. Can you ever be too old?

Love,

Jess x
