Do any other bloggers out there sometimes feel like they just can’t be bothered with it? Well that’s been me the past few months. Blogging is not my main job, it’s more of a hobby for me, and so there is never a real sense of urgency about any of it. And there is always something else that needs doing at work or at home. Thank goodness for instagram – I guess as a blogger it’s the quick snap shot, visual version?  However, there’s nothing like a new discovery to re-kindle that blogging flame. (As they say.)

I recently discovered Canva and I’m now obsessed. I always assumed you needed photoshop to create one of those mood board things? Anyway, point is, now I know how to do it to it’s got me hooked. I have already put together several different boards all lined up and ready to post. So lets start with knitwear, seeing as it’s that time of year and you can never have too much.

I love chunky knitwear and have a wardrobe full of jumpers, cardigans and cashmere. They go with everything and make dressing on cold winter mornings easy. One thing I hate is to be cold. I am also not so good at putting together looks or layering when under pressure. What’s also so great about knitwear is that it can be dressed up or down. My go-to festive look is a sequinned or metallic midi skirt and a grey v neck jumper with some statement earrings. I recently purchased a great v-neck in grey from H&M. It’s the perfect knit for evenings and comes in lots of other colours, at just £19.99 you can buy more than one. They do say this, and it’s true, if you find something you love buy it in every colour. It’s all very well looking chic but I also need to be comfy.

Here’s some other styles that have recently caught my eye. I especially love the embroidered two-tone sweater for a bit of colour.

Zara. Embroidered two tone sweater.

& other stories. Red roll neck jumper.

Mango. Striped contrast sweater.

H&M. Light pink knitted jumper.

COS. Oversized Milano knit roll neck.

Next. Black roll neck sweater.
