Boot up

6 Nov

I haven’t purchased a new pair of boots for a couple of winters now. When it comes to footwear I believe in quality over quantity, both for myself and for my daughters. This means I am happy to spend more on a really lovely boot that will last more than one season, rather than several cheaper pairs that probably won’t even last one. Obviously this doesn’t always work with the girls as their feet grow! However from experience, no matter how many different pairs they might have, they always end up wearing the same ones. So you only need one good pair, in either dark blue, black or brown, to wear on repeat. I generally head to Papouelli.

When I talk about a really lovely pair that will last I don’t necessarily mean designer. You can find some great quality boots on the highstreet if you look to the more premium ranges. There is also the likes of Kurt Geiger, Sezane and Other stories which are more of a mid range price point, but still classified as high street. In fact I have been lusting after a pair of these Kurt Geiger biker boots just now. I may have even brought a pair. I wouldn’t normally choose such a ‘blig’ style but there is just something about these I really love. They will add a little something to a more everyday outfit shall we say. (Don’t tell my husband as I am supposed to be on a spending ban.) Kurt Geiger in fact have several biker styles that I really like. It’s a style I don’t currently own and would wear a lot, so I’m not considering this a frivolous purchase.

Here are a few others styles that have caught my eye, that I think you guys will also appreciate. Just click on the images and it will take you through to where to buy. (Not affiliated.) All flats for now, that’s just my current frame of mind. If you want something for the party season though, I did see these. There’s always room for a silver sequins, especially at this time of year.
