Last weekend I attended a black tie event at Chelsea's Hurlingham Club. Dressing for such occasions can be pretty stressful with a seven month baby bump, lets face it you don't feel your best. I certainly don't anyway, and in all honesty the last thing I wanted to do was go to a black tie dinner. What was I going to wear? Thankfully my partnership with Madderson London came into play, and brings me to the second look for my style diary. They have just the dress for red carpet glamour.

The Juno dress, the Madderson 'show stopper'. A silk printed style-statement, with exquisite pe ... Read More

With Winter comes the need for added layers. Chunky knits and woolly tights are all well and good but no matter the amount of fabric, a cover-up is still essential. One of my favourite things to shop for this season is a chic new coat. Just like shoes and bags, you can never have too many. A coat is one item of clothing I have found (with pregnancy number one and again this time around) that does not need to be maternity specific. A baby-bump doesn't really get in the way of the latest outerwear styles. Currently I am loving all things over-sized, as you already know, and the fur ted ... Read More

The first look from my much-anticipated Madderson London style-diary: The Saturday Dress - every maternity wardrobe should have one. It's not only for Saturday btw. Wear-with-all, it pretty much goes with everything, any day, remaining a style-staple way beyond pregnancy.

Made from perfectly soft, luxurious modal with discreet side ruching and just the right amount of stretch allowing for that inevitable belly. (mine is now most definitely a proper bump!) A clever side slit also means this otherwise fitted style does not restrict movement. You just feel comfortable and loose ... Read More

There are only 21 days to go until Christmas. So if you haven't done so already, it's time to get thinking about presents. Children, mums, sisters and girlfriends are easy, but what about dad.! I always find it hard buying for the man in my life, as well as my own dad and mostly dad-in-law) what do you get someone that seems to have everything?!

When it comes to gifts ideas for him, if you are stuck for ideas, I would always recommend the classics. You can never go wrong with a cashmere sweater or chic new tie or wallet. Last year I got my husband a Mulberry wallet which went do ... Read More

I am a country girl at heart. I grew up in the Suffolk countryside and love nothing more than going back home for some R&R. There is actually nothing more relaxing, the country way of life is just so chilled. It's almost backwards. I love the lazy mornings reading the paper, long dog walks without a car in sight, and indulging in the local fish and chips (Aldeburgh) which are to-die-for. I am in-fact long overdue a return, and what perfect timing. At over six months pregnant R&R is definitely what I need!

With country jaunts in mind it is important to understand that sev ... Read More

A friend of mine recently asked me what changing bag I would recommend. She wants to treat a friend to something nice and spend a reasonable amount. I jumped at the chance to offer my advice. (I am also thinking of getting a new one, so research is for my benefit also.)

First off, personally, there are only three brands worth considering when it comes to baby bags - Sugarjack, Il Tutto and Storksak. They are market leaders for a reason. Stylish, chic and practical, without a hint of baby.  There is also a new contender in the mix, Baby Beau. I would like to say I discovered thi ... Read More

I have stolen this idea from Sheere Luxe. (I hope they don't mind...) The gorgeous Georgie (editor) started a weekly diary/type blog a while ago and I really enjoy reading it, so though I would do something similar in the hope that you guys enjoy reading mine. A kinda sum-up of my week with a few pictures to go with, including some outfit snaps. Baby bump is now 24 weeks but I am still managing to keep the leggings at bay (for the most part.) Here is my first entry.

Last week was my husbands birthday. In our family birthday's are usually a weekend affair, we don't just have one ... Read More

New boots anyone? These beauties from Seven Boot Lane arrived on my desk a few weeks ago and I have been wearing them pretty much on a daily basis ever since. (These and my fave bikers that it.)

Seven Boot Lane are a new British brand based in Somerset. Made from the most luxurious, buttery soft leather, each pair is designed with quality and craftsmanship in mind. A pair of SBL boots is the ultimate in comfort and style, and judging by my new pair of Aretha boots in black leather, they are made to last. The perfect footwear choice to accompany my everyday style ... Read More

As my bump continues to grow, I am definitely feeling (and looking) preggy now, there is no hiding it, I am more than in love with anything over-sized. And my current obsession is the mannish overcoat. I recently purchased this green style from Zara. I don't usually do green but this just caught my eye and I am pleased it did. Paired with the ever-comfy 9London maternity skinny jeans and a favorite Stefanel chunky knit. For me this is the perfect everyday maternity style. (leopard flats, Zara. Bag, Tory Burch.)

A few weeks ago I was sent a set of Pajamas from MamaMoosh. I am still waiting to wear them (desperately/excitedly) as my baby-bump is not quite big enough yet and the trousers are a little big, but in the meantime I just wanted to introduce you guys to this gorgeous little brand. (As seen in VOGUE, so perhaps not that little, but you know what I mean.)

As I am sure you are well aware as a new mum, or will soon find out as a mum-to-be, those first few weeks with a newborn leave little time for washing your hair, let alone getting dressed in the morning, so brands like MamaMoosh ... Read More
