Denim drop crotch pants
DRKSHDW by Rick Owens Swing Cotton Tshirt

I have always been a fan of Rick Owens, the laid back, off beat silhoette his pieces create always looks really cool, and they are equally easy to wear.  As you know i like to keep abreast of the latest fashion and will not let pregnancy stop me from expressing my sense of style.  Enter Rick Owens. Some of his new SS11 denim collection, DRKSHDW, is prefect for dressing a burgeoning bump! I especially love his cotton swing t-shirt and draped denim vest.

Miss Selfridge Black ankle leggings £12
Miss Selfridge Black ankle leggings £12
Matalan leggings £6Black leggings are a staple of every girls wardrobe, and even more so if you are pregnant! You can just throw them on in the morning with a long knit and some boots with no effort whatsoever. Leggings are super comfy and if you get the right pair can also look great dressed up for the evening with some heels and a sparkly top.

I have lived in leggings throughout my pregnancy and i have been lucky enough to still fit into my original, pre pregnancy, styles. However, i have found certain brands alot more ... Read More

I just have to tell you about this excellent iphone/ipad cover site i recently found!! (I have just got a new phone after dropping my old one in a swimming pool, long story, and needed a new cover) If like me you love a bit of bling you will love this; There are so many different cover designs it is actually very hard to decide which one to get! Prices vary, you could spend over £100 on a swarovski crystal case or just £15.99 0n a Python print style! Personally I like the Decora series, and have just purchased this silver one pictured! Not too pricey at £33.99 it looks supe ... Read More launches shoe lounge

24 Mar

shoe_lounge[1] has just launched its eagerly anticipated shoe lounge just in time for the new season. After browsing through the collection i have to say i could probably find a home for most of the styles; from Sam Elderman to Mulberry there is a shoe for every occasion and every trend.

Being pregnant i have to take into account the fact that heels are not the best idea, especially when ones sense of gravity has become somewhat distorted and when ones ankles are prone to swelling! I have therefore selected some of the more practical styles. They are still super yummy though ... Read More

Shoes!! Just spotted

17 Mar

Pregnancy might mean that you cannot follow  the catwalk quite as closely as you used to, but you can when it comes to accessories! The new Spring/Summer shoe collections are now hitting the shops and Dorethy Perkins have some sumptuous styles, from flats to wedges there is something for us all!  Hot this season are pretty florals and pastel colours, rattan wedges also have a big impact. I love all of the styles pictured above, i think i can get away with those blue wedges, they look quite comfy :). I also love these pale pink ballet flats, the chiffon bow detail is so cute and feminine! ... Read More

Colour blocking

16 Mar

A big trend right now, and for Spring/Summer, is colour blocking. Wear solid, bold colour such as orange or green to add a bit of brightness to your day! I love this dress from Asos. It's knitted so will keep you warm until the weather hots up and can easily be worn with tights and a leather jacket. Team with some cute black patent ballet flats and a bit of gold jewellery. ... I mentioned bikini's earlier and how there was no need to splash out on a Melissa Odabash bikini. Well, i have just spotted this on the Matalan site and i think it is very Odabashesque! Think Cheryl Cole in that snap of her on the beach.  Unbelievably it's only £12!! Great even if you aren't pregnant.

I have to say Matalan is great for cheap fashion forward accessories, perfect if you don't want to spend too much and still look stylish. They have just launced their summer flats and there are some fab ones. Think i might need to take a trip the ... Read More

bikini top
Maternity bikinis, in my opinion are diabolical. So don't waste your time looking.  Instead just go for regular ones in a bigger size, but make sure you try on…I wouldn’t advise buying over the internet.
I got some great cheap ones from Matalan and Primark, or ‘Primarni’ as my friends and I affectionately call it! There are quite a few in the shops already so snap them up now if you have an iminent holiday. (Also great for swimming, the best exercise in pregnancy). I say no need to splash out on expensive Melissa Odabash ones, as you will only fit them for a limited time. Save ... Read More
