Bras4mums – Gorgeous nursing bras for yummy mummies

4 Aug

HOTMilk wild composure nursing Bra
As a breastfeeding mummy it is important to be fitted properly for nursing bras to ensure your comfort, as well as to keep your breasts in good condition and stop them from becoming saggy! A horrid thought i must say but prevention is better than cure! So with this in mind i was very conscious that i did just that as soon as i had had Annabella. I had already been fitted previous to her birth at 37 weeks pregnant (this is the recommended time to get your first set of feeding bras, anything before and you might find that your size changes!) but was then contacted by a company called Bras4mu ... Yoomi – the self heating bottles – genius

27 Jul

As a breastfeeding mother you might think that i have no need for bottles, well think again.  Bottles are still an essential bit of baby kit required if you want to express your milk. Sometimes expressing is essential, perhaps if you want to go out and leave your little one with a babysitter, or if you want to get all dressed up in your favourite dress and need to have a bottle to hand as that designer piece simply does not accommodate breastfeeding! It is also a nice way to allow daddy to have a go at feeding your little one.

Bearing this in mind i brought myself an electric b ... Read More

Babymel Amanda printed changing bag

21 Jul

Babymel Amanda Red printed changing bag £49.95
If you know me you will know that i am a real bag person. Some people are shoes (don't get me wrong i love shoes too) but if i had to choose it would be an amazing bag over an amazing pair of shoes any day. So bearing this in mind when i became pregnant i suddenly thought, 'oh no i won't be able to carry my Mulberry Alexa!' (a Christmas present from my fiance - top marks for that!!) There is no way i am packing my pride and joy full of nappies and Sodocrem!

I thought perhaps i could carry two bags, my own handbag as well as a changing bag?  But i soon realised that the practic ... Read More

Pregnancy tooth care – Aquafresh ultimate

15 Jul

During pregnancy dental hygiene is extremely important as the increased hormones surging through your body cause your teeth and gums to become more sensitive and prone to gum disease. Do you notice that your gums bleed a lot more easily than before? Well this is why.

If you are like me you are neurotic about your teeth and want them to look as perfect and as white as possible, and you will try anything to make this happen. I even had a brace fitted (train tracks no less!) for a year last year, that is just how determined i am to have as nice a teeth as possible. So when i noti ... Read More

A father’s day treat – Koochu’s Eldorado designer changing bag

17 Jun

It's fathers day just around the corner and i was really stuck as to what to get my lovely fiance as his first Father's day gift!? He might not technically be a father on Sunday but he will be very soon! So i wanted a gift to really spoil him, something that he would never expect. Enter Koochu's Eldorado. I was offered the chance to review one and jumped at it!

Modern men love a man bag and so why should this not be the case when it comes to their own babies changing bag? No man wants to carry around a bright and flowery design as they push the Bugaboo to the park. A lot of men ... Read More

Mamas and Papas maternity maxi dress

7 Jun

M and P floral
Mamas and Papas very kindly sent me a couple of their fab maternity maxi dresses to feature on Mumzynot recently. Here i am wearing the floral print style and i love it! The fit is perfect, i went for my pre-pregnancy size 8 and there was no issue with the style or the way it hung. It has adjustable straps too which are great as you can make them longer or shorter depending on your bust size! It is also a great length. Being quite tall i find that maxi dresses are often a bit short and graze my ankles rather than cover them! I guess the adjustable straps also come in handy here, making the d ... Read More

Stylish maternity coat from Clark and Grey

18 May

I have been looking for a nice lightweight maternity coat since becoming pregnant and have not been able to find anything that i like enough to bother purchasing. Everything i find is either too bland, too frumpy or just plain boring! It is so dissapointing going into the shops and seeing all these lovely coats, jackets and blazers, designed from the latest catwalk looks, knowing that i simply cannot wear them with a big bump! Why can't the maternity wear designers cater for us pregnant ladies aswell!? OK so some brands do the odd coat, but a choice of one design is not really a choi ... Read More
