2015

New year 'new me' and all that...I have learn from experience that if you do decide to make any new year resolutions the likelihood of keeping any, is by keeping them simple.

So that's no dry January for me then. Every parent out there knows how important that post bed-time glass of wine is, no? In all seriousness, my plan for 2015 - to work hard, dream big and if it ain't broke, don't fix it. It's the little 'big' things that matter. Health and happiness. Anything else that comes along the way is just a bonus. (I wouldn't mind a new handbag.) I am also planning to tone up, and ... Read More

DRESS UP

28 Dec

Have you got that all important New Years look sorted yet? Are you pregnant and slightly panicking about what to wear? For after dark glamour, step-up my favourite hero piece - the maxi dress.

Last year we stayed in for New Years. first time ever but it was actually quite nice, and being over six months pregnant I just couldn't face the party. However one time staying in over the festivities is enough, and this year we are going all-out to make up for it. Black-tie here we come. I am thus on the hunt for that perfect gown, I really fancy wearing something long in black (which I ... Read More

GREENBERRY KIDS

18 Dec

Pom pom
I love discovering new brands and Greenberry Kids is my latest gem. Mini-Scandi-style mixed with a cool Korean flair. This is my kinda children's clothing, and those baby pieces are just too cute.

In all honesty, there's not much else to say. All you need to do is look at these outfit images and you know what I am talking about.

You can shop Greenberry Kids here, and if your quick I think you still have time for Christmas delivery. I am coveting the Annkia star-print tutu for A, debating upon it as part of her Christmas look...What do you think?

A CHRISTMAS JUMPER?

12 Dec

Etoile Isabel Marant
It's obligatory right? At some point over the festive season you are requested to don that Christmas jumper. Whether you adhere or not is another matter.

If you do decide to play the game, after-all it's just a little fun, you are not un-spoilt for choice. There are a lot of Christmas styles out there to choose from. From Tesco, to Topshop, to Isabel Marant. Every budget is catered for, and every-kinda style statement too. I personally think I will go for something a little subtle, fair-isle is always a good option as it's not just for the festive period and can be worn ... Read More

GIFTS FOR HIM

10 Dec

Tom dixon pic
The hardest person to buy for at Christmas, it's always the man? Why is that?

Dads are easy, and happy with most things, Brothers - the same goes really, you can never go wrong with clothes or some aftershave. But for him I find it a lot more challenging. You want something a little more, but without having to spend too much. (Unless you can afford that new Rolex.) So what am I thinking? Well I still don't have anything decided, but I have stumbled across a few possibilities.

My latest discovery Tom Dixon has some really chic, contemporary gifts ... Read More

MINI SCENTS

9 Dec

Baby perfumes
You may have read in my previous post how A has developed a penchant for my perfume? So this Christmas she is getting her own mini-scent in her stocking. Hopefully that will do the trick..

I never really took much notice of baby-perfumes before, so I might be wrong in saying this, but it seems like a lot more brands are getting on the bandwagon. This season there seem to be a lot of new scent releases aimed at babies and little ones? There are the established favourites, Bonpoint and Burberry have had their own mini-scents for a while, but now you can get it pretty much everywhe ... Read More

WRAP-UP

4 Dec

Marni wool-felt coat
Wrap-up in style, that new coat is calling. Question is can you hold off until the sales?

A chunky knit is my go-to for winter, so when it comes to outer-wear it needs to be oversized. (Expectant dressing approved.) Those most coveted styles, Joseph's belted wool mac or a Marni olive-green version are my dream buys. From a more realistic view point the high street have some things similar, that I also love. COS is a favourite right now for that new addition, and they have the cutest mini-me version for A which I feel is a must? I am also lusting over Ganni's teddy coat for that ... Read More

DEAR SANTA

2 Dec

Moniva vinader
Now December is finally here it's time to start thinking gifts. And also time to start thinking about that wish-list. It's always fun creating your own gift-list, even if it is just in your head.

So what would I like to un-wrap this year Santa? Well being a typical female, fashion-loving, shoes and handbag obsessive, it's kinda easy. I'm also partial to anything Alex Monroe or Monica Vinader. (Specifically I would love an MV engraved necklace in rose gold.) I'm also in the market for some new perfume, seeing as my three year old has taken to my current collection so intently, I ... BUGABOO DONKEY

1 Dec

bUGABOO DONKEY
If looks could kill. I never though I would say this about a double-buggy, but Bugaboo have done it and i'm all eyes. The Bugaboo Donkey and in all-black. I love it.

I'm not in the market for a double-set of wheels but Bugaboo got in touch recently and asked me to give my thoughts. Because I liked what I saw so much, I have felt it worthy of a share. I must add here that I am a Bugaboo fan already, my Chameleon has lasted for two and is still going strong right now. All that was required for the transition between babies was a little face-lift. The genius behind Bugaboo's inter ... Read More

STOCKING FILLERS

26 Nov

Since having little ones the new highlight of Christmas has to be playing Santa.

There is nothing more innocent or magical about a child's excitement this time of year. A saw her first Christmas tree the other day, since returning from holiday last week, and was so happy. I think this is the first year she really gets it. She definitely gets Santa. So now we've hit December, and back to the point, it's time to get started on those stocking fillers.

This is where's it at right now. Oh and a Barbie electric tooth-brush. I have yet to start on little E, but in all ho ... Read More
