Aveda Shampure
If you follow mumzynot on Twitter you will know that i have been on the look out for a new shampoo and conditioner that will boost my lank and lustless pregnancy hair. So many people have said that being pregnant means your hair will grow and become lovely and thick, but unfortunately this is not the case for me. My hair has gone rather lifeless in the last few months and i have tried to combat this in a number of different ways with various products and treatments, but nothing seems to have worked! You automatically think that to boost your hair condition you should u ... Read More

Maternity denim

23 May

7 for all mankind Roxanne with studs £213
Everybody loves a bit of denim and the same thing goes for us pregnant ladies. It is such a versatile look that can be worn day and night meaning that it will never go out of fashion. Each season the catwalk adapts or introduces a new trend of denim; be it skinny or flare, head to toe or accessorising. These trends are then filtered down to the highstreet allowing us all to get in on the act. This is even the case for maternity wear, thank goodness!

There is an array of denim shirts and dresses, shorts and skirts all available in a number of my favourite maternity fashi ... Read More

Casual yet stylish summer dressing in pregnancy can sometimes be hard. With a growing bump (mine is now approaching its peak!) things can start to get a bit uncomfortable and the tendancy is to just throw on some trackies and a loose top. Well this need not be the case! With the help of some fab maternity brands it is now possible to be comfortable and look good.

One such brand that seems to have got it just right when it comes to gorgeous and flattering maternity clothing is Isabella Oliver. The brand features quite a lot on mumzy-not, as you have probably noticed, but that ... Read More

Maternity trend: Nudes

19 May

Tiffany Rose butterfly top £69
One of this seasons hottest trends is the refreshing and calm new nude. Caramel, cream, blush and peach shades were seen all over the SS11 catwalks and have now filtered down to the highstreet making the look accessible to us all. I am pleased to say that this is also the case when it comes to maternity fashion.

It is not the first time nude has hit it big in the fashion stakes, but this is not surprising seeing as it is such a versatile colour!  As the sun starts to shine and the weather hots up what better way to show off those tanned legs than in a cute little nude dres ... Read More

Baby bath: Flexibath

I saw the Flexibath at the Babyshow at the beginning of this year and thought that it was a really cool product, funky, fashionable and also really practical. It has been on my wish list ever since as a yummy mummy must have, and i am really lucky to have just been given one as a present!

The unique selling point of flexibath, and what made it so appealing to me, is that it folds away flat with a simply touch of your hand, i have tried this myself and it really is that easy! This is perfect as it means you can store tha bath out of sight until you need to you it. This is a gre ... Read More

If you are like me you will have a lot of beauty products in your bathroom cabinet, some you use and some that just sit there gathering dust! Since becoming pregnant the amount of products i have has dramatically increased as i try out all the latest fads to prevent stretch marks, itchy skin, sensitive skin bla bla bla.  But as some come and go, there are others that remain as my trusted must haves.

French Connection Maternity

9 May

French Connection maternity jersey V-neck jumpsuit £87

Since becoming pregnant i have often wondered why all stores do not have a maternity range that is simply an adaptation of their normal fashion range. Surely it is easy to pick some of the latest new designs and add some ruching or extra panels to the sides? Some stores have been successful at offering some nice maternity clothes, don't get me wrong; Topshop, Dorethy Perkins, H&M is OK, but they do not have a great turn around in terms of styles. It seems they have a maternity range that lasts for months, and only add a few pieces seasonally, nothing like the turnaround ... Read More
