Alexander McQueen Diaper bag $1595£950
The ever stylish pregnant celebrity stylist, Rachel Zoe, has been tweeting about her latest baby accessory, the Alexander McQueen designer 'diaper' bag. This fabulous leather tote retails at a mouthwatering £950, hers even comes complete with a customised RZ hanging tag! Maybe not something the average yummy mummy can justify, (you can get a complete top of the range travel system for that, including car seat!) but it is more than likely to go to the top of their wish list, i know it is mine! I love bags! Note; there are alot of cheaper alternatives when it comes to choosing your perfect d ... Read More

On Saturday after spending the afternoon, and what inevitable stretching into the early evening, my fiance, myself and a couple of friends, decided to go for an inpromptu bite to eat. We were all starving, me because being pregnant i always seem to be hungry every few hours, and them because they had been drinking!

Being Saturday most places were extremely busy and we had not booked anywhere. We ended up spotting the Italian restaurant chain Carluccio's that had a few empty tables in the window and all agreed that a pizza would be perfect! Upon entering the restaurant we were ... Read More

Yesterday i treated myself to a maternity dress from my favourite maternity fashion brand Isabella Oliver. It should be arriving today so i shall eagerly listen out for the post :). As you know i love love Isabella Oliver! I will probably have the whole maternity collection by the time my pregnancy is over! Note; they have recently launched a regular clothing collection, Isabella Oliver 365. I went for the ruched midi dress this time, in Black. (As seen on ALi Larter).

Will look great dressed up with tights and heels or dressed down with sandals when summer final ... Read More

The Funky Fairy

18 Mar

In preparation for the birth of my little girl i visited the babyshow at Excel centre last month to get some ideas and advice on baby products and parenting. I was hoping to pick up a few bits but did not let myself get too carried away! (If you know me this may surprise you!) There was definately lots to see and i stumbled across some great products that i had not seen before.

Being obsessed with fashion i was obviously on the look out for cute baby clothes. I was not dissapointed. My favourite purchase of the day was from a stand called The Funky Fairy, they do a number ... Read More

Waitrose Organic; beauty on a budget

Waitrose organic
I love shopping in Waitrose for my groceries, especially all the yummy delicatessent treats they do. I like to support local and British produce and Waitrose if one of the few supermarkets that tries to do the same. It might be a bit more expensive but if you are a savvy shopper this does not always have to be the case. I recently came across their organic range of beauty products whilst looking for some toothpaste on my weekly shopping trip, so thought i would give it a try. Being pregnant i like to try and put only organic and natural products onto my skin. Organic and natural can often mea ... Read More

Shoes!! Just spotted

17 Mar

Pregnancy might mean that you cannot follow  the catwalk quite as closely as you used to, but you can when it comes to accessories! The new Spring/Summer shoe collections are now hitting the shops and Dorethy Perkins have some sumptuous styles, from flats to wedges there is something for us all!  Hot this season are pretty florals and pastel colours, rattan wedges also have a big impact. I love all of the styles pictured above, i think i can get away with those blue wedges, they look quite comfy :). I also love these pale pink ballet flats, the chiffon bow detail is so cute and feminine! ... Read More

Now that the days are longer i have started walking my dog, Twiggy, everyday after work. Shamefully in the winter she does not get such regular walks but i have vowed that from now on this will change. She is a Staffy crossed with a Ridgeback, maybe, (to be honest we are not really sure) and so has alot of energy. Although in the house she is a real sweety and happy just to lie on your lap and snuggle up. People can be very snobby about Staffies due to all the bad press that they get, but i can safely say that they are the most loyal and loving dogs and i know Twiggy will be great with the bab ... Colour blocking

16 Mar

A big trend right now, and for Spring/Summer, is colour blocking. Wear solid, bold colour such as orange or green to add a bit of brightness to your day! I love this dress from Asos. It's knitted so will keep you warm until the weather hots up and can easily be worn with tights and a leather jacket. Team with some cute black patent ballet flats and a bit of gold jewellery. ... I mentioned bikini's earlier and how there was no need to splash out on a Melissa Odabash bikini. Well, i have just spotted this on the Matalan site and i think it is very Odabashesque! Think Cheryl Cole in that snap of her on the beach.  Unbelievably it's only £12!! Great even if you aren't pregnant.

I have to say Matalan is great for cheap fashion forward accessories, perfect if you don't want to spend too much and still look stylish. They have just launced their summer flats and there are some fab ones. Think i might need to take a trip the ... Read More

bikini top
Maternity bikinis, in my opinion are diabolical. So don't waste your time looking.  Instead just go for regular ones in a bigger size, but make sure you try on…I wouldn’t advise buying over the internet.
I got some great cheap ones from Matalan and Primark, or ‘Primarni’ as my friends and I affectionately call it! There are quite a few in the shops already so snap them up now if you have an iminent holiday. (Also great for swimming, the best exercise in pregnancy). I say no need to splash out on expensive Melissa Odabash ones, as you will only fit them for a limited time. Save ... Read More
