With under six weeks to go I am definitely at that 'nesting' stage. I have (although I said I wouldn't) purchased several new first outfits, the sales are just too tempting. And I am already starting to sort and wash all those tiny baby grows and cardi's in preparation. I cannot wait to get the nursery finished now either. I was going to leave it as-is, painted in Farrow and Ball's blackened, which is a lovely soft grey. But I am now thinking I would like to wallpaper one wall, in either a star or stripe. Thanks to Pinterest I have lots of ideas.

When it comes to thinki ... Read More

I don't know about you but for all special occasions and festivities I like my daughter to be dressed accordingly. Whether it be a birthday party, Halloween or (most relevantly) Christmas day, little A will have a new outfit to showcase. It's a great opportunity to treat her wardrobe to a chic new addition. (Perhaps not at Halloween. This is one occasion where chic goes completely out of the window.)

There are so many cute outfit ideas that it really is hard to choose just one. So I have put together a few options as below, for both the boys and the girls. Dressing up is in no w ... Read More

I was recently introduced to a divine online baby and toddler boutique, Susie and Toto, that offers an adorable collection for style conscious little ones. (Or more realistically, their mums.) If you like quality combined with style this online store is well worth a visit. Think cashmere dresses, wool knits, moccasin booties, tweed coats and a delectable sets for newborns, all made in Italy.

I was lucky enough to receive a rather cute dress and cardi set for A in grey and navy. Initially I was a bit worried our new outfit would be too small. (Sizes go from 3 months to 24 months ... Read More

Since I had A (over two years ago now) it had always been really tricky to find designer-led baby clothes at highstreet prices. If you love fashion and want to create a cute and stylish wardrobe for your little one you have to be prepared to spend.  I am talking Caramel Baby and Child, Bonpoint, Marie-Chantal, where just one item can cost up to £100. Don't get me wrong, I adore these brands, but unfortunately I just cannot not justify it. (More than one or two times.) Babies grow so quickly.

Thankfully, today things are a little different. Just like the highstreet is able to r ... Read More

You may have heard? Mango have recently launched a kids range. Well as expected it's super-cool. A street-chic collection for both boys and girls from ages 3-12, with stylish footwear and accessories to match.

The latest looks from the Spanish label are right up my street when it comes to children's everyday style. Autumnal hues of mustard, Khaki and burgandy are the main focus. With checks, stripes and polka dots adorned on cute collared dresses, 100% cotton shirts and sweaters. Chord, chino, denim and leather are also in abundance. This is not a collection for the girly-girl o ... Read More

bobo chooses shirts
I have just stumbled upon Bobo Choses and had to share them with you guys.

Bobo Choses is a quirky-cool brand of babies and kids wear from Spain. I think you will agree when I say their Petit Collection is just too cute!? A Bobo Choses kid, is definitely a super-stylish one.

My favorite has to be the Fish & Chips romper. This would be perfect for A to wear to the Aldeburgh seaside this weekend - their fish and Chips are the best you will ever taste, so seems rather fitting?! I also adore the overall styles with fruit-motif print. Now to decide which items to c ... Read More

These days, with a demanding toddler, I don't get to go shopping as much as I would like. Shopping is now more an online experience.  In some ways (for my credit card) this is better as I don't buy nearly as much as I would in-store. I am so indecisive that for the most part I fill my shopping basket only to empty it again....But the downside is that shopping sitting at a computer screen is just not as fun! I miss that shopping rush. So last week, whilst I was in town for a meeting, I took advantage of my surrounding and had a mosey around some stores. It was so nice to got that much needed ...
