To, Dear Santa, pretty please? My ultimate Christmas list, which is perhaps a little extravagant in places. But I'm not greedy so would happily settle for just one or two things. I couldn't possibly just choose one. (Oh go-on, probably the Alex Monroe gold and diamond ring. You will be surprised to know it's not the most expensive thing on my list. I told you I wasn't greedy.)

What's top of your Christmas list this year?!

Not bad for 9 months pregnant? The Hollywood stylish, Rachel Zoe, has just revealed that she is now at full term after keeping her second pregnancy pretty much under-wraps until now.

Pictured in Beverly Hills with her two year old son, Rachel was dressed in her trademark flared jeans and black top, teamed with a metallic jacket from her own collection. She carried an over-sized Hermes tote as her and little Skyler shopped for toys, on what she claims to be one of her last outings before she gives birth.

It's nice to see Rachel adding a bit of sparkle to her usual ... Read More

As my bump continues to grow, I am definitely feeling (and looking) preggy now, there is no hiding it, I am more than in love with anything over-sized. And my current obsession is the mannish overcoat. I recently purchased this green style from Zara. I don't usually do green but this just caught my eye and I am pleased it did. Paired with the ever-comfy 9London maternity skinny jeans and a favorite Stefanel chunky knit. For me this is the perfect everyday maternity style. (leopard flats, Zara. Bag, Tory Burch.)

Leather shirt dress £180
I love Kate Bosworth, she, along with the likes of Alexa Chung, is one of my modern day style icons. So as you can imagine I have been greatly anticipating her second collection for Topshop. I have not been disappointed.

Being pregnant can be rather frustrating. Thanks to bigger boobs (I actually don't like having a bigger bust, clothes just don't fit as nicely) and a non-existent waist, buying into the latest trends becomes more of a challenge.  Thankfully there is many a maternity label that now recognizes a pregnant woman's desire to remain stylish, but when it comes to non- ... Stella MCCartney check and stripe sweater £225 was £510
Mid-season sales are upon us. Whether you are looking for a Christmas-gift bargain or something new for yourself, lets get inspired.

When it comes to Sale shopping always ask, would I buy it full price? More often than not the answer will be no - so don't get distracted by a discount and stick to your true style.

I love all of the below. (Sorry these all seem dull and dark in color, but that's my mood right now. I always prefer the classics anyway, timeless.) All will work with a bump but will look equally as chic minus one. Even better. Now to decided which is my ... Read More

The back-pack is one of this seasons hottest accessories, which is great news for us mums and mums-to-be. We can now be hands free in style. Sporty and chic, with enough room to fit all your baby essentials and mummy must-haves, this leather carry-all from Elizabeth and James is the perfect alternative to your everyday changing-bag. A pair of large shoulder straps will easily hang  from a stroller too.

Be sure to look out for high-street steals, if your budget won't allow for something more designer. Who would know anyway?

‘Does my baby bump look chic in this?’

17 May

maternity chic
Spotted in today's Evening Standard, an interesting article on maternity fashion. Perhaps a little optimistic for most of us that cannot afford a designer wardrobe, pregnant or not, but some inspiring maternity style ideas none the less.

'Does my baby bump look chic in this?' written by Karen Dacre, introduces a fellow blogger, Pippa Vosper and her blog, Maternally Chic. Pippa is fashion editor at one of the ultimate style magazines, Harper's Bazaar. Since becoming pregnant last year she, like us, has refused to let a bump get in the way of how she dresses. Through her blog, and ... Read More
