WRAP-UP

4 Dec

Marni wool-felt coat
Wrap-up in style, that new coat is calling. Question is can you hold off until the sales?

A chunky knit is my go-to for winter, so when it comes to outer-wear it needs to be oversized. (Expectant dressing approved.) Those most coveted styles, Joseph's belted wool mac or a Marni olive-green version are my dream buys. From a more realistic view point the high street have some things similar, that I also love. COS is a favourite right now for that new addition, and they have the cutest mini-me version for A which I feel is a must? I am also lusting over Ganni's teddy coat for that ... Read More

KATE SPADE + GAP KIDS

30 Oct

kate S
You heard it here first. Kate Spade NY for Gap Kids has just launched online and in store.

Think colour-pop clothing and accessories for both boys and girls in a limited edition collection. A real nod towards the Kate Spade signature in-keeping with the wear-ability of GAP Kids. Perhaps one of the best collaboration yet? I'm not convinced. For me it's the Jack Spade boys designs that stand out, I love the grown-up feel. Don't get me wrong there are also some cute pieces for the girls. My picks; the bow-print dress and ballerina pumps. But if I were to buy one thing it would be f ... Read More

ANGEL & ROCKET

22 Sep

freckle-print
Where has this past week gone? Is it just me or is there never enough time in the day? Β And the first thing that gets neglected is time with you guys. Sorry about that.

Once again time is of the essence but I would like to just quickly introduce an exciting new kids wear brand. Meet Angel & Rocket. Perhaps one of my new favourites. Top picks - The Freckle print dress and Helix cardi. I love anything in a warm autumnal hue this season and you cannot fail with a grey wool knit. Look to the Ridge jumper if you have a boy.

PRINTS

21 Aug

Prints
When the weather or days activity calls for something a little more covered and pretty pastels or floral-print are not quite appropriate I will always reach for a pair of printed leggings (or Jeans depending on my/A's mood.) One of my favourite such brands is Our Little Lullaby and I have just seen a sneak-peak of their new season prints. How divine. Paired with a T-shirt or chunky knit this is easy-peasy mini-style. Great for both the girls and boys, winter or summer, little or large.

Which is your favourite? I would go for either penguin or cheetah. ...

TINY-TOE STYLING

7 Jul

IMG_20140707_104538
As a shoe lover (what girl isn't?) having a mini-me is so much fun when it comes to styling those tiny-toes. A has an extremely extensive collection of shoes and E is not far behind. What is so great about having two girls is that investing in quality footwear means you can save them for number two. My idea being a good selection will mean no one pair gets worn to death, and remains in fabulous quality for little sis. Like my logic?

When it comes to those quality pairs, style needs to be in conjunction. Let's just say I am not a fan of inch blue, and wherever possible I ... Read More

MINI STYLE WITH MAYORAL

7 May

IMG_20140310_204811
As you know I tend to be a fan of the European brands when it comes to dressing A,E, or even myself for the matter. (Ganni ring any bells?) So when I discovered French label Mayoral I was happy to have found yet another. A stylish new collection for mini-me's offering great quality pieces that are also reasonably priced.

I recently visited Mayoral's store in Clapham (there is also one at Bluewater) and managed to snap a few pictures of A in some of my favourite looks for this season. I just adore the floral loose fit pants and yellow cotton sweater, the stripe bloomer shorts are ... Read More

The past week has seen some glorious weather which in turn has seen me reaching for A's more summery pieces. I find as the weather hots up dresses are our go-to. Even more so now with a new addition taking up alot of my time. Throwing on a dress is totally fuss free, and quick. This makes life easy when my darling daughter number 1 is being a little difficult, shall we say. Don't get me wrong A adores her new baby sister, but I have found her a little more demanding and needy. Her favourite line at the moment - 'mummy, I need you.' She also loves to play up w ... ISABELLA OLIVER SS14

2 Mar

IMG_20140301_194253
Isabella Oliver is one of my go-to's when it comes to maternity wear. Their iconic jersey pieces are favoured by myself and celebrities a-like. When it comes to dressing that bump in comfort and style a ruched T-shirt or simple tank are essential elements to any such wardrobe. Not to mention a great pair of maternity jeans, leather pants, a chic LBD, and some more statement everyday looks if you wish. (Think sequin maternity jacket and elegant maternity-maxi.)

So when I was asked to review their new SS14 collection, I was more than happy to do so. Seein ... Read More
